NEW JCB AGRI PRO LOADALL PROVIDES FIRST DUALTECH VT IN AUSTRALIA

JCB Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) has launched their new Agri Pro Loadalls that combines both Hydrostatic and Powershift drive systems to deliver Australia’s first and only 2-in-1 dual technology transmission (DualTechVT).

The new 531-70 and 541-70 are the two Agri Pro Loadalls landing in Australia, bringing a new technology to the Australian agricultural machinery market.

Greg Sealey, JCB CEA National Product Manager for telehandlers, says by creating the DualTech VT the Agri Pro Loadalls boast all of the benefits found in a Hydrostatic and Powershift drive.

“The high-speed efficiency and towing ability of a JCB Powershift transmission, combined with the low-speed control advantages of a Hydrostatic drive not only provide operators with the gearboxes in one transmission but also improve cycle times across a wide range of farming applications,” Greg says.

“These latest models come with precise control for operators, high-tractive effort, smooth forward reverse shuttle, and high-speed performance, offering a 25% productivity gain when handling and 16% when towing on the road, compared to other models on the market.”

The DualTech VT also provides enhanced operator comfort, delivering easier and smoother automatic gear changes.

“The 531-70 and 541-70 boast three different modes for operator convenience, allowing the machine to alter between Flexi Mode, Eco Mode and Power Mode, each tailored to the environment, ranging from high-speed road travel or manoeuvring in tight spaces,” Greg says.

The Agri Pro Loadalls are also equipped with hydraulic power brakes, increasing control even further, improving braking performance and safety, especially when towing a loaded trailer or travelling over uneven terrain.

The Agri Pro Loadalls include an exclusive intuitive approach to traction management with 4WD mode and 2WD mode available via a switch on the control panel.
“The 2WD mode increases traction when using on road towing and the 4WD mode offers operators equally matched front and rear axles that reduce tyre wear when working,” Greg says.

The Agri Pro Loadalls are also fitted with the JCB LiveLink, offering real-time information on fleet management, maintenance, run hours, and security straight to a computer, tablet or mobile.
