STRENGTH IN NUMBERS WITH NEW JCB HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR
After the successful launch of the JS200SC, JCB CEA has introduced the JS200LC a long carriage excavator providing operators with improved strength and durability.
Deon Cope, JCBCEA National Product Manager for Heavy Excavators says that the JS200LC is tough enough to perform any job, thanks to JCB’s advanced manufacturing and assembly processes.
“This machine has been put through extensive rig and endurance testing to make its key components last longer,” Deon says.
The JS200LC comes with a new reinforced boom and dipper made from high tensile strength steel, three-piece wrapper plates and cast ends. The result is a very resilient machine.”
“The high-strength undercarriage of the machine uses a fully-welded X-frame construction for lasting durability and resilience in even the most demanding applications.”
JCB’s own DIESELMAX engine is fitted as well, which uses up to 10% less fuel than the Tier 3 units, reducing costs and saving money.
“The excavator is also equipped with JCB’s innovative hydraulic regeneration system, which recycles oil across the cylinders for faster cycle times and reduced fuel consumption,” Deon says.
The JS200LC is designed to be low maintenance and easily serviceable, with the engine oil and oil filter having service intervals of 500 hours.
“When it comes to operator comfort, you can expect a quiet cab thanks to reduced noise levels inside and outside the machine. There is also a large laminated roof window that gives optimum visibility if working at height,” Deon says.
