JCB’S HYDRADIG WHEELED EXCAVATOR WINS BEST NEW PRODUCT AT HIRE18
The JCB Hydradig wheeled excavator has won the award for the best new product at the Hire Industry Excellence Awards. The award was presented at the HIRE18 conference which is the 50th convention hosted by the Hire and Rental Industry Association.
The New and Improved Hydradig Wheeled Excavator
With the success of the Hydradig wheeled excavator’s national launch and demo event last year, a new and upgraded Hydradig is now available at a lower price. The updated model includes the ability to tow trailers with the option of a rear-mounted parallel dozer blade with front stabilisers. The new Site-Pro Pack includes JCB’s patented Smooth Ride System (SRS), high back fabric seat heated base and air suspension, upgraded work lights to LED and reverse steer.
Blade, Outrigger and Towing Capabilities
The new Hydradig wheeled excavator has the ability to tow a trailer directly with a hitch bolted to the chassis (this requires the blade to be mounted to the front). There is also the option of a blade and outrigger to assist with levelling the machine in certain applications.
Comfort and Safety
The new wheeled excavator comes with a series of features to make the machine even more comfortable and safe for operators. This includes JCB’s patented SRS, which cushions the excavator boom when travelling around the site, improving material retention in the bucket while travelling over rough ground, boosting productivity, increasing speed and improving operator comfort. It also comes with reverse steer, which is unique in this size class of machine. This feature helps to improve safety and operational use, ensuring that the steering components of the machine operate in the same direction when travelling in reverse.
The Future Proof Wheeled Excavator
The new Hydradig comes fitted with a high spec seat, LED light package and additional blank chassis mounts on the rear for the front dozer blade models. The blank chassis mounts allow the owner to future proof the machine with the option to add the outriggers in the future if needed.
International Awards
The revolutionary JCB Hydradig excavator is continuing to break new ground with another prestigious international award win. The Hydradig 110W scooped up Rental Product of the Year at the European Rental Awards in Vienna, bringing its award-winning credentials to nine international titles since its launch in 2016.
