JCB is meeting the needs of customers in the hire sector with the launch of the RS range of diesel generators, specifically designed for the power generation rental market. Powered by a range of world-class engines, including the award-winning JCB DieselMax, the generators use high quality industry-recognised components and are all fitted within a robust sound-attenuated canopy.

Rental Ready
The RS-branded generators from JCB Power Products offer outputs from 19 kVA up to 1,250 kVA. The most popular rental power nodes for rental machines are 60kVa, 80kVa, 100kVa and 125 kVa models and are powered by JCB’s reliable 4 cylinder DieselMax engine.
Sturdy Construction
The RS generators are fitted with a robust, durable canopy that is Zinctec powder-coated for additional longevity, and complete with a certified single integrated lift point. JCB Power Products generators are sound and weather attenuated, offering sound levels as low as 65dB(A) at 7m. The bunded robust base frame also incorporates fork lift pockets for ease of movement, along with integrated tie-down points for secure transport and on-site movement.
Long run fuel tanks along with a 5 micron fuel filtration and water separation system are fitted on all RS models, ensuring performance in the toughest of Australian site conditions.
Stay in complete control
The RS range is equipped with JCB’s LiveLink for Power telematics system, to remotely monitor the generator or an entire fleet. This allows fleet managers and company owners to access operating data on all JCB generators working in the field, to ensure minimal downtime and to maximise availability for the customer.
World Leading Electrical Controls
JCB Power Products uses Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) controllers on all RS models. The DSE 7310 comes as standard on all RS machines with the option of the DSE7320 for control of external ATS systems or the DSE8610 for synchronisation.
The RS series of generators all use Mecc Alte alternators, which are between 3-5% more efficient than many competitive brands. The Mecc Alte alternators used in this range are fitted with DSR digital voltage regulators for optimum voltage control.
Schneider four-pole circuit breakers are standard on all RS generators.
