The Woolgoolga Quarry purchased a 30 tonne excavator and 456 wheel loader through their local JCB dealer, North Coast Construction Equipment (NCCE). The 30 tonne excavator is now 3 years old; it is used for winning the raw feed for the aggregate plant and in the production of road bases. The wheel loader stockpiles all quarry materials and handles the loading of trucks.
The Woolgoolga Quarry
The Woolgoolga Quarry operates out of Coffs Harbour, NSW. The Argillite quarry provides 7mm – 20mm aggregates, crusher dust, road base products, blue rock and filter rock. The Woolgoolga Quarry supplies major highway projects, civil contractors and councils in the local area.
30 Tonne Excavator

456 Wheel Loader
The JCB 456 wheel loader is productive, efficient, easy to maintain and extremely durable. Its 8.3 litre 6-cylinder Cummins engine is Stage 2 compliant and produces 153 kW and 994 Nm. Of course all JCB front-end loaders are designed to get the most from every drop of fuel. On the 456, there’s a load sensing hydraulic system with a variable displacement pump, and a variable speed cooling fan, all of which consume power only when required. There’s also premium componentry, like a Cummins Engine and an all-ZF driveline.
